@AlisonCook’s notes on dinner at Tony’s

Houston Chronicle Food Editor Alison Cook visited Tony’s last week for dinner. Here’s what she had to say Tweet:

“Stunningly good pasta at Tony’s tonight. Garganelli with pate sauce & aged balsamic. Straw & hay with white truffle that’s worth the tariff.”

Via Twitter.

“Also happening in a major way at Tony’s: Elysian Fields lamb from the tasting menu with turnip-dijon and red cabbage purees.”

Via Twitter.

“Really nice wine pairings with the Grant Gordon tasting menu at Tony’s, too. Very much worth checking out.”

Via Twitter.

“Boom. RT @tastybitz Handmade pasta at Tony’s is on par with Quince/Vetri – rarefied air. Going back for an all pasta tasting.”
